WHAT'S AN EXCLUSIVE LICENSE?
You have exclusive rights to use the artwork for commercial purposes. The artist is NOT authorized to sell or license the piece to anyone else for commercial gain. It's only yours.
WHAT'S A NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE?
You can use the artwork for commercial purposes, but the artist can also sell or license it to other people.
I WANT A COMMISSION. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH LICENSE I NEED?
It's so easy! A commercial license is necessary for ANY TYPE of artistic work that WILL BE USED for commercial or business purposes. Some examples include:
⯮ Illustrations for products (Merchandising): If the artwork will be used on items like t-shirts, mugs, bookmarks, stickers or any other merchandise that will be sold to the public.
⯮ Logo and brand design: For businesses that want to use the artwork as part of their brand identity.
⯮ Advertising artwork: Any artwork used in advertising campaigns, whether in print or digital ads.
⯮ Book or album covers: When the artwork will be used for commercial products in the entertainment industry.
⯮ Online content: Images used on websites, blogs, or social media that GENERATE INCOME, either through advertising or product sales.
In summary, if the artwork is going to be used to generate income or as part of a business, you will likely need a commercial license.

A non-exclusive license allows the licensee (the person or entity receiving the license) to use the artwork, but the artist retains the right to use the same artwork for other clients or projects. This type of license is often more affordable and flexible compared to an exclusive license.
⯮ Fixed Duration: Many non-exclusive licenses specify a certain period during which the licensee can use the artwork (e.g., one year, two years). After this period, the license may need to be renewed.
PAYMENT
⯮ Payment in € (Euros).
⯮ Payment via PAYPAL. You can choose Friends & Family or, if using Goods & Services, the client must cover the fees.
⯮ Two payment options:
- 50% after the sketch, and 50% upon completion.
- Or, full payment after sketch approval.
⯮ Prices may vary depending on the complexity of the character (e.g., armor, intricate outfits, details, etc.).
⯮ I reserve the right to cancel and refund commissions if necessary.
REFERENCES
⯮ Any references would be helpful: other drawings you have of the character, a quick sketch, images from Pinterest—anything that helps!
⯮ Please check my work on Instagram to make sure 100% that it’s the style you want.
ARTIST RIGHTS
⯮ Unless you specify otherwise, I reserve the right to upload commissions to Instagram. If you prefer not to have it shared, just let me know, and I won’t post it—no worries!
⯮ I will provide two versions of the illustrations: one with my signature and one without. If you wish to share it on social media, please use the version with my signature. The version without the signature is for your personal use.

HOW DO I WORK?
⯮ I will begin working on the sketch. At this stage, you can request any necessary changes until we achieve your perfect illustration!
⯮ Upon sketch approval, you will pay the first 50% (or full payment). I will move on to the coloring phase (where minor adjustments can still be made).
⯮ I will begin with the base colors and share them with you so we can collaboratively choose the perfect color palette and shades.
⯮ Don't worry, I will keep you updated on every significant change so you can follow the entire process.
⯮ Once it's completed, you'll pay the remaining and I will send the final artwork to you via WeTransfer, Gmail or Drive.
⯮ I prefer to stay in close contact during the process, so I kindly ask for prompt responses. I cannot proceed until the progress is approved, especially if any changes are needed.
Please note that files sent via WeTransfer will expire after one week, so make sure to download them before the 7 days are up.
